Today when i try to login into joomla admin panel, i was getting following error and unable to logged into joomla admin panel….

* JAuthentication::__construct: Could not load authentication libraries.
* Username and password do not match

I use the version Joomla! 1.5.6. I have checked my joomla configuration but didn’t find any solution. After some time i have searched my problem on google and found following solution……

In my case changing the permission of the “Authentication – Joomla” table wasn’t enough. I also had to change the permission of the “User – Joomla” to.

Both “Authentication – Joomla” and “User-Joomla” must have the Published propertie set to 1.
